Dear Students and Parents,
It is that time again, when midsummer starts to bring us closer to the new school year. I am beginning to see glimpses of "Back to School" ads, so the time has come to post my supplies list. I also have it posted on my school website, at www.yorkschools.org/yms/staff. You will also be able to access my homework calendar on this website, so you may want to bookmark it. Each student who has me as his or her teacher will see me everyday during the school year; one day for math and the next day for English language arts.
You may see supply lists for the actual team that your child is on. You do not need to buy the supplies for those math and English teachers. I only require one binder for both math and English. Please have your child come to school on the first day with the following supplies for both math and English with Ms. York this year:
- one 1.5" three hole binder
- 8 divider tabs
- one 3-hole pencil pouch
- 2 dozen wooden #2 pencils
- cap erasers
- a small calculator with square root functions
